Install the Runner on Windows
Use a Windows machine that stays powered on, signed in and connected to the same network as UniFi Access.
Install and pair
- In Musterly, open Settings → Integrations and select Add runner.
- Enter a Runner name and choose its site.
- Choose Windows and download the installer shown there.
- Run the installer as the Windows user that will keep the Runner running.
- Generate a pairing code.
- Select Open Musterly Runner & Pair.
- Approve the browser prompt to open Musterly Runner.
If the link does not open, select the Runner tray icon, choose Pair with workspace, and enter the six-character code manually.
Keep it running
The Runner stays in the Windows notification area without an open window. In its tray menu, keep Launch at login enabled.
If the Windows user signs out, the Runner stops. For an unattended server, use Linux or make sure the chosen Windows account remains signed in according to your IT policy.
The Windows Runner checks for updates when it starts and every four hours. It downloads and installs an available update silently, then relaunches automatically. The Runner may appear briefly offline in Musterly while it restarts.
Do not run the Linux command in Command Prompt or WSL for a Windows installation.
Continue with UniFi Access connector setup.
