Doors
The Doors page shows the doors found through your UniFi Access connector. It also controls which door events change the live presence list.
Classify every door
Newly discovered doors are External until changed.
| Classification | Choose it for | What Musterly does |
|---|---|---|
| External | A door used to enter or leave the building | Uses entry and exit events for presence and roll calls |
| Internal | A door between rooms or areas inside the building | Keeps the activity but does not change presence |
| Ignored | A reader or door that should not be used in Musterly | Ignores its events |
To change a door:
- Open Doors.
- Find it in Door catalogue.
- Choose External, Internal or Ignored.
The change affects how Musterly handles door activity. Check Who’s In after changing important entrance or exit doors.
Review activity
Choose a date range and site at the top of the page. The summary shows:
- external entries and exits
- internal door uses
- ignored door uses
- busiest doors
- the number of people seen at each door
- the last recorded activity
This is helpful when investigating an unexpected presence record: find the door, check its classification, then open the person’s recent events.
A door is missing
Doors appear after the connector receives them from UniFi Access. If one is missing:
- Check it exists and is active in UniFi Access.
- Check the correct site and connector.
- Wait for the next sync and refresh the page.
- If it still does not appear, follow Troubleshooting.
